Nice looker but not very stock, 12 V, late civvy fenders, civvy eng compartment with relocated aircleaner, rear gas tank with right side filler, odd rear bumper and very modified dash.

Be interesting to see how the sale goes.

Yes indeed. I spent the 1st 50yrs of my life in the PHX area and
attended this auction many times (as a "looky-lou"). It always
astounded me that the name Barrett-Jackson attracted so many
buyers with tons of dollars and ounces of "sense". But you're right
about 1 thing, it's a neat looking little truck!!
keep 'em rollin'

My friend saw in person, that M38 go for that Crazy money. It was advertised as a 1952 World War II Jeep. I for one did not know the war lasted that long :?. I bet the guy who bought it was a bit disapointed when he got it home and realized what he got.

Actually the guy sued Barrett but I never heard the outcome of the suit. Ever notice the abundance of Martinis being handed out to the bidder's!!!!

Bring up their auction site and click on the buyer/seller aggreements you have to sign to do business with them. I won't be selling there after reading it. That is a money vacuum designed all for them. John
