M38 Flat fender replacement floors!

Post by oilleaker1 »

Finally, now that it's welding season, cut out the garbage rusted front main floors and hat channels. John Bizal's Midwest Military floors are just simply incredible! I took great pains in making a map with measurements and dimensions before cutting. Upon alligning things before welding, I was stunned. All dimensions lined up and even the factory holes for the through bolts lined up exact. No Kidding. If he could make a body, the rest would pale in comparison. Anyway , I completely recommend his fabulous work. He said their standard is .005 tolerance in his panels, I believe it! I wish the previous owners didn't use the poor thing like a anvil!!!!!!! I'm saving him one piece at a time. Happy New Year everybody!!!! John

Good to hear! Mine arrived about two weeks ago and I'll be replacing them early January.
