Great craftsmanship, sure looks the role. Any build up pics? That would be interesting as well. Did you have a real one to do a mock up from?

Thanks for the nice comments. No, sorry I didn't take any pics along the way. I didn't have any plans. I just looked at pics on the internet and scratch built it. I was a taxidermist long ago, and like to layer paint etc. to make stuff look real. After 2 years of welding and grinding on my jeep I didn't want to drill holes in my floor to mount the pedestal (also pvc) so I made fake bolts and nuts on top of the base and 3 leg supports and velcroed them to the floor. I then made 2 sandbags to help steady the base. Did great at 55 mph. Went to a 5 hour Veteran's Day parade and event last Saturday. I was quite surprised about all the comments, my favorite one being, "is the barrel plugged?"

I know it's been said but it deserves repeating - a very very fine job! The texturing and layering of the paint is a work of art on its own!

I'm sure that everyone here would greatly appreciate any sort of pictures, measurements and materials info that you could provide.
