Oil filter lines

I was comparing L134 photos trying to figure out the water hoses.
In the process I discovered a possible issue with the oil filer inlet line.
It looks like I have a Fram canister type filter, at 4-1/2" nom, versus the larger Military.
The outlet line is steel and runs to the timing cover on the right front of the engine.
The inlet line is also steel and runs from the filter to a T at the point where the oil pressure sensor is supposed to screw into the left rear of the block. At that tee a plastic line runs to the mechanical oil pressure gauge.
Am I safe to continue to operate the engine with the inlet line screwed in there for now? I did not see a plug near the fuel pump but it may be there under the grime.
Tks,
Brian
