This M38 is offered for sale by a non-member and he asked me to place his add here. I have not sseen this jeep and cannot attest to any of it's qualites.

M38 jeep in restorable condition with a good supply of new parts. $3500 with all the parts which include a NOS hood, new repro fuel tank, and NOS snorkel kit. Pensacola, Florida. For additional photos and info please email Brian at bzuchows_62@msn.com or call at 661-886-4497

The M38 is at my mother's house in Gulf Breeze, Florida (right near Pensacola). I have owned it since July 06 and bought it from a USMC officer that had used it for driving to/from the base and around town years prior. It had sat for 4 years before I bought it. I never started it but it sure should. The crank does turn. My intent was to bring it back to California to start a full resto. Costs of getting it back here and the time needed swayed me into looking for a more complete jeep project for sale out here. So, 1 jeep has to go. But, in my mind, the M38 jeep is the best jeep that Willys, or anybody, ever produced - with the stronger T-90 transmission and the slightly higher height.

Here are some shots. I have plenty more but I thought I'd send these.

From what I could make out a previous owner replaced the hood and grill with CJ parts and he (or she) put a CJ dataplate on it. The holes for the original M38 plates are there. It does have an M151 spare but M38 spare wheels can be found. I also have extra parts including:

- a NOS M38 hood
- an excellent condition original M38 grille
- a brand new MD Juan repro fuel tank
- a NOS snorkel system for the M38
- various other small parts

I'm asking $3500 for it with all the extra parts.
Thanks,
Brian

You must not be logged in.

The data plates are in my opinion thrown in there off a junk CJ3A which aslo supplied many of the other parts.

Be sure to direct your detailed questions to the owner at his listed email address bzuchows_62@msn.com
