Hi,

Anyone have a reproduction M38 body? I wanted to know if the front floor area is the same as an original M38? Is the entire center section of the repro floor bolted in and removeable?

Thanks for your help

Bob,

The reproduction tubs I have seen had floors that were spot welded.

Someone else may know more than I do though.

Hello Bob:

I have a repro body, and the floor center section is bolted, just like the original. Only thing is, I can't use my original floor plates, since the bolt holes on the tub floor don't match with the removable plates' holes... Confused

Hi Jorge,

How old is your repro body? Can you get repro floor parts to fit?

Thanks,
Bob

Ryan,

Were those older repros? Maybe now they are more accurate?

Thanks,
Bob

Hello Bob:

My repro tub is maybe 8-9 months old... I've been doing a frame-off rebuild fot he last year. Yes, the repro plates fit the tub chassis; they came installed on the tub.
