What do you all recommend here? I have previously painted a lot of frame and body parts with the red oxide primer. They have been painted for over three months now. What I would like to know from you guys who have experience with the paint is, before I start painting this stuff with the OD paint. is it necessary to light sand paper the parts now that they have sat this long, so the OD paint will stick. I'm using the Gillespie brand paint.

I'd first wash real good all of the primed parts, light sand (600 or 400 grit, wet sand) as to eliminate any runs or rough areas (that might show after the paint process), wash again to eliminate residue, and after ensuring that it's ALL clean, start painting. _________________ Regards to All,
