Hello All,

This is my first post, but I have been reading for about three months now to get information for my poor M38A1. You don't know how thankful I am that you are here!!! I am still in the teardown/ripout stage, and keep finding more and more to do. Does it ever get any better? Wink Actually, I am having a blast, and just wish I had more time to do this, and didn't have to spend so much of it at work. Embarassed There is soooooo much to say about my jeep. It seems to ba an anachronism -- Old Fenders, New Battery Box Lid, New Grille, and holes in the wrong place for the tail lights. Also, the channel for the footman loops across the back is missing. . . It almost makes me wonder what I bought, but it will be a for-real M38A1 when I get done. Razz By the way, the Data Plate says October 1952, SN 26703, and the engine number is MD 19470. Unfortunately, the Data Plate was not attached when I got it, and the one on the wheel well is long gone. That's all for now. I just wanted to announce my presence on your wonderful site. Thanks for being here!
