It is in what I would call fair shape, it leaks in the rear seams, I have scraped it and applied JB Weld to it to try to stop the leaks. Leak appears to be on the rear bottom near the filler spout.

Look at the 5th photo the JB weld is visible as gray on the lower seam. I think it could be brazed after a good cleaning... The leak is very slow, mainly lets the smell of gas out in the garage.

IT has been patched before and was in a wreck of some sort in its history. All of the screw holes for the sending units are clean. The whole tank is covered in some type of gray epoxy which I then painted blue to match my jeep.

I am currently keeping the fuel pickup and gauge sender, the pickup is an M-38 and may turn around and clean up and put in my new tank as opposed to the M-38A1 one I have there now. The sender unit is a civilian one as it has a threaded stud instead of Douglas connector.

I would like to get $100 plus shipping via FedEx Ground. (They are cheaper than the rest by far) Let me know if you are interested and we can go from there.

First Come First Serve...
