I'm finally getting around to installing my wiring harness from Midwest Mil and have a couple questions that I'm hoping the group can help me with...

In short the circuit numbers/wires don't match up well on the drivers rear light and trailer socket. Here's what I've got (including circuit numbers that I cannot find in the harness instructions and/or manual). I do not have turn signals. Obviously I can match some of the numbers, but there seem to be too many 24's. Connectors are the one piece rubber Packard type with the metal Douglas connectors to hold everything together.

Can anyone tell me which should connect with which (wires with two circuit tags are shown as xx/xx)?

TRAILER SOCKET...to....HARNESS TRAILER CONNECTIONS
22/460... 22/460
21... 21
23... 23
22/461... 22/461
24... 24
24... 24
490... 24
90 - ground

DRIVER TAIL LIGHT...to....HARNESS TAIL LIGHT CONNECTIONS
21... 21
22... 22/461
460/46... 23
24

I know that without turn signals I'll have a couple extra wires, but which are which and what goes where? Sorry that I cannot describe the situation any more clearly. The manual and instructions show the #24 wire to the trailer socket as having the 1-2 "Y" connector but none of my wires have the a, b, or c designation on them.

Thanks for any insight!

Tony,
I assume from your description that you are wiring it late style (trailer harness piggy backs off the tail lights). I've attached the correct diagram.

You should have the following:

Right tail light assembly
23 to 23
24 to 24

Left tail light asembly
21 to 21
22 to 22
24 to 24

Trailer receptacle harnes
21 to 21
22 to 22
23 to 23
24 to double connector which has 24A and 24B on the receptacle side.

90 from the receptacle is the chassis ground.

The remaining wires should be 461/XX and 460/XX which are for turn signals.

Key
21 = service tail lamp (red)
22 = service stop lamp (red)
23 = Blackout stop lamp
24 = Blackout tail lamp.
90 = Trailer receptacle ground
460 = Right service turn
461 = Left service turn.
