I am gathering the guages for my M-38 CDN, so far I have an original Fuel gauge and Oil pressure (120 psi) guage... Very Happy The SNL lists a resistor that goes with these guages. In the SNL; Figure 06-12 it shows the Fuel, Oil and Temp gauges with what looks like and "L" shaped unit on the back of them. Do I need to find these or will all work with out... Confused

I need to find a Temp guage (PN - 7389567) and all will be original, save the voltmeter due to a solid state regulator... Smile

Comments, please...

Hal,

On the manual photos, they show the early style temp gauge with the external resistor.

The later style gauges had an internal.

I know you already found some gauges, but thought I would post this in case someone else had a similar question.

Hal,

Have you checked out the 24V gauge troobleshooting guide on the download section under electrical?

I have a set of gauges that I am going to send out for repair.

There is a place called Bob's Speedometer.

Ben Daugherty had them do some work and he was very pleased.
