We had one helluva nice day up here. Clear, blue and visibility unlimited and 77 degrees. A really nicely restored blue A1 to drive along with a M38, 6 other A1'a and two M151's and one M37. Even had a WLA along! Had a nice lunch, drive back to hill top retreat and shoot a few unusual weapons for a few hours. Can't get any better than this! Very Happy

That's great, But a restored blue A1??

This is a good time of the year to be out in the open with the MV's. Hopefully this weekend I'll be doing a convoy with some others MV's.

And veterans day weekend hope to be at Ft Hood on the reservation with some more vehicles.

I hear that!
Had a nice weekend myself in the lil M38, my 15yr old daughter took her first drive in it (just got her learners permit). I am seeing another M38 in my future, I think she is going to want this one! Confused
LOL!!!

The blue is USAF! My M38 project sheet metal is done and USAF blue as well. I plan on Navy gray for my 45 MB and my M37 driver is currently 24087 with 101AB markings. Speaking of which I spent today (Sunday) putting another 120 miles on the M37 and again a very beautiful day!

I bought my son a 71 blazer in 1988 before he had time to grow attached to my M38A1 I was instructing him in.

I was in Ladysmith, to hot to bowhunt at 80+ if I had known you were out joyriding would have dropped down. Killed more than my limit of mosquitos to keep busy.

Kinda reminds me of deer hunting in Louisiana in the 70's and 80's. By 10 AM you were in a "T" shirt.

I drove down to Chippewa, made a few stops and then stopped at Ted's in Holcombe for a cold one and a sandwich and the 8 minutes of overtime where the skins got away with 3 points.
