Hi group,
I need your help again. Can someone tell me what goes in between the horn switch and the steering box. Is it a jam nut, shim, some kind of gasket or a combination of these elements. I know the switch will not fonction if it all the way scewed because the switch button is depressed.
Thanks.

It is a jam nut of sorts. Mine has a pressed sheet metal type jam nut. I would think that any jam nut would work. _________________ Ryan Miller

Remi,
The switch should have the stamped steel 3/4-16NF nut 107827 (H001-4057741) on it. Yuo first install the adapter 7375150 (RG# 402130, WO# 664986) into the bottom of the steering box with a gasket 8329688 between it's flange and the box. Then thread the jam nut on the switch and thread the switch into the adapter and adjust the switch so that with the button depressed the switch is just closed. If you wish you can seal the threads with a small dab of RTV. _________________ Wes K
