Actualy on the Mercedes G-Wagon, they don't have bridge plate and I believe it's the same with the other vehicles in active duty.

Unfortunaly no but this P-51 is owned by a friend near Ottawa. He's member of the Vintage Wings of Canada and click on the following link to see their website. http://www.vintagewings.ca/en-ca/home.aspx

Nice! Did Canadian M38's come with WW2 style door safety straps? Also who made the tires? Goodyear? They have the points in the tread. Thanks for the pictures! John |

Hello John,
As the US M38s, CDN M38s didn't have door safety straps. However, some retrofits were allowed and when I bought this jeep in 2002, the old straps were still there. She also had her brace kit rear suspension to support the recoiless 106 mm gun. Tires are Denman brand.
