still striking out on these plates, so my next route is maybe getting my originals restored. there old and have green paint on them.
weight and dim plate is beat up pretty bad
ser# plate pretty good shape except for the paint and some rust.
responsible plate is same way ecept one corner need restored.
anyone know of anyone who restores data plates

The key to how restorable they are is how much corrosion and how much loss of height on the raised markings. I have seen at least a dozen threads here and on the G by folks describing how they restored their plates. Just search those threads using "Data Plates Restoration".
The worst enemy of the plates is the use of abrasives on them. _________________ Wes K
