Posted: Fri Apr 04, 2014 3:23 pm Post subject: So, I installed the marine reinforcement for the rear bumper
on my 1952 M38A1. The body mount holes, pintel hook, and everything else matched up perfectly. Except the rear bumperette holes.The were completely covered, and I had to drill new ones in the stock bumper to reattach them. One on the holes sits close to the rear bumper support cross-member, and I had to use a slightly smaller screw to make the nut fit. I'm wondering if this is what the marines dealt with. _________________ 1952 M38A1
