At some point every one of our vehicles will get wet, whether by accident or intended.
When mine gets wet, water runs down the cowl to the front, behind the hood, down the bent sheet where the hood is bolted, and runs onto the head, specifically filling up the #4 spark plug hole.
On Ebay I have seen several people selling a gutter that attaches to that angle piece on the cowl with the hood hinge bolts, and supposedly directs the water to either side of the engine, then down, preventing water from dripping onto the head.
Is anyone using these?
Are they in any shape or form motor pool stuff?
Thanks,

This will not work if you are using the fording system. The bracket that holds the fording cable bolts to the hood hinge and will not allow this to fit.
I have seen this part on 3A's and it does a good job. _________________ Larry Richard
