hey guys I got a pedistal socket and need to know how long the pipe needs to be to make up a mount, i got a ww2 split glass window so not sure if it is the same height as a m38 Very Happy

This version of the M31 pedestal is used with the M38 that lacks the plate on the crossmember just behind the front seats. This was has a healthy top of the floor plate and the two side braces have brackets welded to the frame for them to bolt too.

I'd recommend you go to Jon's Jeep Draw site and purchase his M31 Pedestal drawings and then adapt them to conform to this version.

thanks I got gus in the club i can go take measrements just need the time Very Happy , didn't realize it was so secretive that you needed to buy measurements Shocked

We're not being secretive. If I had the drawings with measurements I would have posted them. Perhaps you aren't familiar with the lay of the land in this military jeep resto business. Jon is in Australia and has operated a web site that encourages folks to get off their duffs and measure their jeep parts and shoot him photos and measurements. He then makes blue prints and posts them to his site. When I said BUY from Jon I met he charges for mailing or making PDF's the drawings and if $5 for the quality drawings doesn't suit you than I guess you'll just have to get them from GUS.

no problem, made it out to a fellow mvpa guy today and got the measurement I needed, just needed the height of the main tube , rest will need to be custom since my body is a cj3b/cj2a/cj3a/blah blah blah Very Happy wes the pic you posted will work great for reference thanks
