My Willys has one front frame wing bent slightly which is not letting the new bumper screw holes line up (off one hole width). Anyone had success with using a porta power to straighten these up? - tried searching but can't find anything- would think this is a common problem.
thanks guys for all your help... _________________ Lee Long

If it's a left to right problem the porta-power will work without a lot of setup equipment. If it's a vertical issue you'll need shoring and if it needs to come down an upper brace point. Often a torch, heat and a hammer will solve this. _________________ Wes K

Mine was slightly bent too. I beat it back into place with a large sledge hammer. I didn't use any heat. Before I started pounding, I clamped a 2x4 to the frame. I went slow and didn't go too crazy with the sledge. Mostly beat on the wood, not the metal.

Porta Power WORKED WONDERFULLY - GOT ONE FROM HARBOR FREIGHT for 100$, Took about 5 minutes to force out about 1 inch. _________________ Lee Long
