Thanks ga,

It's certainly been a long road. Hope I can have it ready for Memorial Day.

Have to get the windshield glass installed in frame, get spare tire mounted, Get it registered for hiway use and get insurance and work on putting a top on.

Ken; when you go to insure your vehicle are you looking at regular auto insurance or going to check out classic auto insurance. I have put out some feelers when the time comes to insure mine when I am finished and am looking at the classic auto policies. They are considerably cheaper with a stated amout value; whatever amout I wish to put on it. I havent dug real deep into it yet but if you decide to go that route I would appreciate knowing what you come up with and also what if any restrictions they have on operating the vehicle.

Thanks

Gamillerman

I am going to insure it in the classic vehicle category and registered as Former Military Vehicle according to the Texas codes.
