At one point, surfing around various Jeep sites, I tripped over a post about a shop in PA that specialized in rebuilding these L-134 engines. I'm thinking about having mine rebuilt, but now I can't find the darn post!

I'm actually in MD, but PA would be close enough.

Does anyone on this board know of such a shop in the mid-atlantic region?

Hi Bob

Mine had a hole in the side of the block where a rod went through and I took to a commercial industrial rebuild shop and they fixed the hole and rebuilt the engine. They did an outstanding job. They are in Columbus Ohio. A ways away from MD, however, if you can't find anything else, I highly recommend this company. If you are interested, get back to me and I will put you in touch with them.

George at Army Jeep Parts sent his engines that needed to be rebuilt to some place in Lansdale, PA -- which is about 30-40 minutes north east of Philadelphia. Give him a call, he should be able to help.
