Hi bought some spark plugs of ebay seller said they fitted m38's.
just recieved them and the leads don't fit into them before i sent him a
e-mail to inform him i thought i should get my facts straight. the plugs he has sent me are auto-lite ar8-s or 2246 anyone know what vehicle they do fit. Thanks

The correct plug for the M38 is the Auto-Lite 2243 (AR5S). The M38A1 plug 2245 (AR7S) is a hotter plug that can also be used in the M38. The Auto-Lite 2246 is an odd size plug used in power unit engines.

Hi**Snoopy** Wink Me I use plug auto-lite Num.2243 on flat head 6 cylinder 1955 M37 cdn. and my old plug are 2246 whent I order a new plug he said to me this is the old number and now is 2243 auto-lite.
