Seriously? With so much gravy under there one would never know they were missing.
I'm thinking Bretto could cobble up a couple from angle iron on a slow afternoon.
I'm just lucky Wes asked. I started looking at a few other details. The top left bolt was loose when I was rubbing it with a wire brush. Seems Bubba forgot to put a lock and nut on the back somewhere in time when he was buttoning up this phase of his project. I'm afraid to find out what else I don't know.............. _________________ Brian

I'm getting ready to flange everything back up and looking at the various and sundry bolts of various threads and lengths have decided to buy new bell housing bolts and nuts.
Looking at the Ord 9 G740 and 758, they both show
2 - 3/8 x 3-3/8" NF dowel bolts,
4 - 3/8 x 2-1/2" NF bolts,
2 - 3/8 x 3" NF bolts.
I can't seem to reconcile the bolt lengths and locations to the second or later bell housing photo above.
Should I get the longer bolts listed in both Ord 9's?
And Grade 5 or Grade 8?
Thanks! _________________ Brian

Actually not so! Read very closely. An indented parts list only applies to the non-indented part number directly above it.

I got a set for my M38 late bell housing from MWM. The two dowell bolts looked NOS to me, the others were good take-offs. _________________ Ron D.
