I'm looking for a brass 90 degree vent line fitting. Double-flare at both ends for 3/16" threaded fittings. I've been searching for a modern replacement with no luck. An original would be nice but would settle for a modern replacement if someone knows where I can find it. This is for my master cylinder vent line to air cleaner.
Thank you,
Dave |

Thanks Brian,
I've tried Napa, Autozone, and O'Reilly with no luck. O'reilly has been very good for finding some of the other fittings but no luck on the 90 degree fitting. |

Hi Dave,
A quick look in my notes and the on-line Weatherhead-Eaton catalog says you're looking for the very rare 452x3 elbow. Searching "Weatherhead" in this forum will also get lots of hits to plow through.
I see some on fleabay, minimum 10 buy at $5 each. Patience might yield better results.
I remember the pain I had with some of these fittings. I'll take a look through my spares because I live by the old sage: two is one, one is none. Maybe I bought 3.
Good luck! _________________ Ron D.

Thank you. If you find one, let me know. I have lots of vent fittings and other small parts to trade if you're interested. I'll keep looking.

Thanks Hal,
That's an option if I can't find what I'm looking for.

Hi Dave,
What do you have to trade? I'm all set with vent fittings. What else do you have? _________________ Ron D.

I'll dig through my parts this week end and get some pictures. I have lots of small parts that are extra to my needs. |
