I believe these that Mullen's was selling are NATO production units made to 637S spec in Europe.

They are both clearly YS series carbs but do you have the triangular soft metal model/serial tags that came on them? What has become of these two carbs? Do you still have them?

Wes in the last set of pictures the one on the left with the keyhole looking cut out with the smaller circle is the port I'm asking about, it is the same as all 3 left pictures in that set.

unfortunately they were sold and are gone. no tags on them that i remember

well I lucked out. I found the photos I took when I was selling the carbs. Here are the tags on two carbs without that extra post casting, and two with the extra casting.

the first 2 photos are carbs without the extra casting port

Definately fortunate to have found them. It would be awful nice to know what the letter codes represent on the 2nd line of the triangular brass tags. That is a very odd round tag on the last one. Must have been put there by a repair facility sometime in the carbs life.
