I have a double pulley water pump I plan to install on my M38. I don't remember where I got it but probably at a show somewhere. I noticed that the replacement does not have the bearing retainer clip nor a slot in the housing for the clip that my old one has. New design? What holds the bearing in place on these pumps?

I took one like that apart a couple of years ago. If I recall right they are pressed in.

Sorry I plan to get a rebuild kit for it myself. That was why I asked the original question as I was also wondering if there are two different rebuild kits available for the pumps in queation.
