USMC Markings

Hi all. I hope someone can give me information on USMC markings for my 52 m38. my Father was a radio communications guy in Japan in 1952. I would like to commemerate this jeep to him. I just recently sent for his mil. records from the national archive in hopes it will give me what his unit was . Thanks. Brett
