I replaced the rear cross member on my M38. The replacement didn't have the holes drilled along the top for the body mounting. Can anyone give me the measurements for where the holes should be drilled? Using the center of the flat rivit holding the top of the x-member to the frame as a reference point would be good.

Thanks

Tom

Tom,

I had the same problem. However, I found that placing the tub onto the frame and then marking the holes was a good way to make sure everything lined up the way it needed to.

with these older vehicles that have probably been abused and then had some stuff replaced, things can easily move a half inch or quarter inch in alignment that may create some difficulties in alignment.

Hope this helps.
Very Happy

I agree with Ryan. Hold off on drilling the 4 tub mount holes until you have the tub in it's final position on the frame.
