I have a new fuel tank for my M-38. I thought my old screws for the fuel gauge and gas supply would fit. They don't seem to be the right size. Do I need to tap them to one size or? Dave

I had to retap mine to clean the excessive paint out of them...

Other than that the tank fit great...

Hope this helps...

I bought the tank from Midwest Military in Prior Lake,MN. It fits well and seems to be well made. It does not leak.
