Trailer model # ??

Post by Cacti_Ken »

What does the letters and numbers (M100) mean, when the data plate says (Model 73 - 1000)
And everyone is labeling the trailer as a model M100.

Hello Ken,
Look at the dash serial plate on your M38. Willys calls it a "Model MC" and the Army calls it a M38. Now look closely at a correct M100 serial plate. The top of the plate calls it a Trailer, 1/4 Ton M100 and Dunbar-Kappel calls it a "Model 73-1000".
