re: David Pizzoferrato - SCAM EMAIL

Post by whydahdvr »

Morning all.
I just got a scam email from the Pizzoferrato email account. It's a typical one. The email states that David is in Wales, has had some money trouble, and needs financial help. It starts off with "tears in my eyes".

I've seen these in both my civilian and military capacity and from the language you can easily tell it's a scam. However, this is a heads up for anyone that may receive the email from ODCLOTH@AOL.COM. Do not reply. Delete the email.

I sent an email to Pizzoferrato Enterprises letting them know about this scam email coming out. Just be aware.

Thanks.

Josh,

I got that email too! I figured it was a scam as I just talked to David a couple weeks ago and wasn't traveling since a family member was very ill.

I tried to call, but the number was busy, I bet everyone was calling him that day.

I hope that it didn't cause him too much trouble and that he's got things cleared up. Just didn't want anyone to fall for it.

Thanks! :-)
