Great Willys Picnic

Post by captw »

3 of us Ontario, Canada jeep owners left ON at 2:00am yesterday morning and drove to Lansford, PA to check out the gathering of Willys vehicles in Lansford, PA...the weather forecast was pretty dismal, calling for thunderstorms throughout the day...we arrived at the No.9 Mine at 10:50am, and only had to endure a few spits of rain all day!...in addition to seeing some familiar faces, all three of us, Brian Gough, Barry Churcher, and I checked out some very unique vehicles, some of which we'd never heard of or seen before...a very interesting day...we left for home at 2:30pm, arriving at Barry's place just before 1am...Wilf

As Wilf says, a very interesting day. Unfortunately we couldn't hook up with Bob W. We kept asking people where he was but when we didn't know what he looked like I guess we kept missing him. Bob your M38 is nice.
Thank's to Brians sharp eye outside the museum door, I realise I have the same wheel barrow at home as they do. Time for another restoration.

That assembly always gets very good reviews.

As for the ID problem I started this thread to help with that a while back:
