1919A4 Test Fire

Post by Deino »

Not sure if he wants me posting this, but I just gotta. This is my dad test firing my semi-auto (boo!) 1919A4 mounted on my '53 M38A1. The goofy grin at the end says it all.

He's doing this while I'm stuck in Afghanistan doing much the same thing. Don't worry, he wasn't shooting at the cows. I think.

Another video. Notice he has to charge it once while in the middle of the test fire. He says it's because the trigger is sticking and doesn't reset unless the weapon is charged again. Toojeeps is my dad, maybe he could elaborate.

Now if only it was full-auto. When I get back I'll have to get some of my buddies and we'll head out redcon 1, g2g, 3pax. Driver, TC, and gunner, maybe a dismount if they'll fit.

Disconnector was sticking and not allowing the trigger to reset. a little stoning of the disconnector ears seems to have fixed that. At least it works in the shop now. It will take another trip to the range to verify the problem is really fixed.
