Post by tazjeeper »

hello all been looking around and this looks like a good place to be.
I just bought an 52 m38 to ad to the colection of jeeps, runs and stops but needs body work. going to buy a kit and put it on it.
here is a pic or two, and in the back ground is some of the other jeeps in the yard.
well as it goes my wife cleaned the computer or something and no passwards are their any more so it may take me some time to remeber the photobucket password again.. lol
I will post pic's when I can get into the account.

thanks for the great website Colin

Hey, had a look at your photobucket gallery. The close-up of the data plates has M38-CDN, so I guess this could very well be a canadian M38. :D

Good luck with your project.
Owen.

Nice project, there were only 2135 of these jeeps built over a few months in Canada.
Be sure to check for the other small items that make it unique to Canada.
Rear axle convoy light, no body serial number plate on the P/S rear wheel well, usually no script "jeep" on the front of the tool box.
There is a nice picture of a M38CDN WW in my photo gallery for reference.
I am on my fourth M38CDN rebuild at the moment.

Have fun.
