Hello Gaétan,

Nice M38CDN that deserves to be preserved. I'm living in Trois-Rivieres. We'll have a HMVs meeting the first weekend of next August at Waterloo near Granby. If you're interested, come with your jeep.

Cheers

Hello Gaetan,

Is that a 200 series Ramsey? Can you post some close-ups of the mountings and of the winch and fairlead as well as some of the drive shaft routing and support bearing?

Hi Wes. The winch is a Ramsey 246L 8000 lb installed new in 1975. The jeep is in the barn and the temperature is actually -14 C with -24 C forecasted for tonight. The photos will come later and I don't know how to post one with this reply. By the way, we are still thursday 17 here.

Hi M38CDNBill. It is too far for me but thank you for the invitation.

I live in Northern Wisconsin. I only meant when you have a chance to load winch photos.

To post a photo here you need to open your photo album in a separate tab or window. Select the photo you wish to post from your album. Depending on weather you are using Windows Explorer or one of the other browsers there are two ways to copy the photo's URL . WEx you must right click on the photo, select "Properties" and then copy the URL from the properties drop down box. With the other browsers it's easier. You right click on the photo and select "Copy image URL".

Then go to your board post and click on the "Img" icon at the top of your dialog box. In the dialog box this will appear "Image will appear at the end of your photo's URL.

As for the date, you must have not selected your time zone in your profile. All the dates on my visible pages are the 17th.

Those are the file locations of the two photos on your computer. You need the URL from the MJeeps photo album to post a photo to this board.

Here's an example of the URL for one of your photos already loaded to your MJeeps photo album:

http://willysmjeeps.com/v2/modules/gall ... .sized.jpg

Here's what happens to that URL when I place these "Img" Image brackets around it.

Looks like your Lab has taken a point there!
