Chuck,

That looks pretty neat! Is it fully functional?

How far does the signal reach?

Chuck,
Looking good. I can only spot 2 clamps missing on the power cord where it comes down the front of the wheel house and I can't seem to see your antenna coax coming from your RT68. Also the install drawings show the excess speaker cord is coiled and stowed just forward of the speaker.

Ryan,

About 40 KM on Hi power.

Thanks, Wes. Still looking for the rest of the power cables, so I haven't tied anything down yet. Coax with BNC connectors is on order from Fair Radio. I'd like to see your drawing showing the speaker cord storage, did they have plastic tie-wraps in the 50's?

Do you know if a C-375 Control Box would have been used with the VRC-10 setup? This control box, according to what I have found, will allow multiple mics, headsets......I wonder where it would mount?

The C375 is used with the GRC 3 thru 8 or VRC 16 thru 18. It is bolted to the vertical side of the left wheel house. It would be just to the left of your speaker. Wire ties are a 70's thingy. We don't use them in high vibration areas because they trap grit or sand and then act like a file or saw on whatever they are tied to. I've seen engine mount tubes on radial engined aircraft sawed thru by a nylon wire tie. The clamps that are shown in the drawing are 1/4" or #4 metal.

Chuck,

Looking good. I have the correct clamps for the power cord. But, I believe you have a couple of boxes of them.

Also I sent you a PM
