You did have the only blue M38
Actually the CJ2A page did all the photo work.

Hal,
I love it in blue!!
Just for interest, here in the UK some years ago when flat fender prices started to climb a lot of CDN M38s were imported through the Bristol area of England, most (almost all I think) have disappeared, rotted away or been converted to MB look a likes. One I think has survived as a CDN and is owned by a MVT member in the Sommerset area, I think the guy also owns a bus company.
On a more formal note what a pleasure it is to see pictures of the various (and not always standard jeeps) sadly here in the UK everything is OD and MUST have a huge white star on the bonnet or else it isn't a real jeep. Owners (most) even do this with the Hotchkiss m201.
hey ho,
Dave.

Thanks Dave,
It would have been OD green with Canadian Korean War markings, but the wife said "Yech..." at the mention of OD...
So I decided on USAF Strata Blue... only to find out three weeks later I had the color wrong for the RCAF (I had asked for 18 months on proper color before going with the Strata Blue
)... I got an email and photos of a restored M-38 CDN done in RCAF colors... I decided to keep it where it was... Besides being retired USAF, a shot or two of paint and new markings it can become a USAF Jeep...
Here are a couple of photos of the jeep itself... Should have the M-100 trailer ready in a month or so... That will be done with USAF Markings...

Hope this helps...
