I'm thinking about building full cage for it -i was wondering if I could just use the cage to hold the top up. I don't have any of the bows and brackets and if I'm gonna build roll bar couldn't I make same dim as the bow system ¿????? Just thinking out loud

Lots of things to think about. How do you attach the top to the
windshield? Also, the bows mount proud of outside of the body
panels so water runs down the sides and outside of the tub.
Bows are not impossible to find. If you are sold on a cage I'd
buy bows and mount them, then design the cage to fit inside
of the assembly. Just be very careful how you mount the cage
foot plates as major rust points are where poor roll bar/cage
attachment points into the floor/tub are not done correctly.
