Most people have a hard time getting there Willys to start, I can't get mine to stop.
I have a m38A1 and somewhere along the line a CJ5 body was installed on it, so over the years I have been rebuilding it with corect body parts. Here's my problem. When I finished wiring the dash all the lights ect worked fine. The wiring is now 12 volts and when the ignition is off there is no reading at the coil. When the ign. is on I have a reading of 12 volts at the coil. When running I have the 12 volts at the coil but when I turn the ign. off I still have 12 volts and the motor continues to run. After I stall it out I have no reading at the coil. Any ideas haw this could be back feeding.
Thanks,
Dave Schroeder

I'd start the process of elimination with the ignition switch.
