Willing to trade

Post by RFCR »

Hello all. I am new to the military vehicle owner community and really excited about the prospect of owning a M series vehicle. I am looking for any 1/4 ton jeep from 1952 or as close as I can get to that year. I have a 1946 Plymouth Deluxe 4 door (suicide style, very cool) that I have invested $10k. New paint, new interior including headliner, new gas tank, pump and fuel line, new master cylinder and brake lines, completely rewired w/blinkers and much more. Can be seen at oldcaronline.com search by year 1946 Plymouth, it's red has pictures of outside, inside and engine. More pictures when requested. Thanks for your time, Steve

Hi Steve. Welcome!

I can't resist: going from suicide doors to an M38/M38A1 that has no doors to speak of, no roll-bar, and no seat belts 8O must be a step in the right direction! Good on ya!

In my opinion, there's an exceptionally great crew on this site, especially the management. Tons of knowledge, no hesitation to share it, and plenty of Great American character. If the inter-web is good for anything at all, this is it!

Just 2 cents from a rookie. Good luck in your search. Be patient.

I've got fishing buddies who say BOAT stands for "Break Out Another Thousand". I haven't figured that out for "JEEP" yet, but there must be one.......Just Empty Every Pocket?

I'm waiting to see if you get a welcome bust in the chops for listing a trade in the for sale section with no price........too funny......you'll fit right in here !

:D

RONd2,
Gotta wake-em up. I want to get into this community. I would sell my Plymouth for 7,000.00 and say it was a staff vehicle but I would not want to piss anyone off. LOL
