WTB Manual Operating Lever for Trico S583-1 Wiper Motor

Post by Restomod »

I know this isn't a major item, but I'm trying to locate a Manual Operating Lever for Trico S583-1 Wiper Motor.
This was a short cast lever (paddle) on the early M38a1's.

Thanks

Is this the same as the M38 lever?

It's more of a thumb tab then a finger handle.

This is a M38A1 windshield:

The left one is the early M38A1 and most M38's finger arm type. The right one is the M38A1's later paddle arm type.

I have a wiper like that but it has a plastic rudder like hand lever.

In the picture, the 2 wiper motors are different as you noted.
Mine is like the right one.
The right wiper motor in the picture has a silver looking manual paddle arm that is roughly 1 1/2" long.
That's the piece that is broken and needs to be replaced.

Does anyone have a junker wiper motor that would be willing to sell that one piece?
