Master cylinder filler cap

Post by M606BR »

Recently I've got a NOS master cylinder double baffle filler cap (WO-119513). After opening the original sealed packaging I'm in doubt about it's really a double baffle filler cap. By looking to the photo below, can anyone kindly confirm it for me?
Thanks for your help,
Luiz Felipe

Hi Luiz Felipe,
That's the correct one for the (CI=Cast Iron)master cylinder WO-805238.

Sorry, I don't remember. It was 4 years ago and I use to buy from many different suppliers.
Try Midwest Military. They probably have it.

I believe I have an original cover from an M38A1 Marine Jeep that has a vent cap on it if you are interested.

Thanks everyone for the ideas. I will try MWM as I have purchased many items from them so far.

Longld, if it is the same as the M38 and in good shape, I am interested.

Keep in mind there were three that fit the M38. The one that came on the aluminum master cylinder, the standard civvy style cast iron with a baffled vent in the cap and the fording type cast iron with the threaded hole for the vent line to the air cleaner.

Cannot find it right now but will keep looking, it is vented type with a threaded hole in the top for a vent hose, mine has a plug in it from a previous owner.

Mine is most likely a civy as it has a plastic cap. Cast iron unit however and relatively new.
