Paint Problem...

Post by OKCM38CDN »

I am working on a 1954 Willys M-38A1. Have painted a bunch of parts (Small) and the grill and motor. Ran low on my spray cans, so last fall I stopped by John Bizal's and bought some parts and a case of paint. Good so far. (I was in the area for a vacation to SW Wisconsin)

Today, I used the last of my 24087 from RAPCO. No problem, I have a case of 24087 from John... PROBLEM - They are not the same color... :-(

Rapco lists their 24087 as Olive Drab; John Lists his 24087 as DK Green 1968-74 OD. So I now have a case of spray cans that I cannot use. They are very close, but I can see the difference...

I still have a can of Rapco 24087 gallon to do the body, windshield, fenders and hood. He is only 3 hours south of me in TX so a road trip may be in order...

Anyone in OK need some paint?
