M38 Radiator Shroud

Post by Farmerjohn »

Does anyone have an extra M38 radiator shroud they will a part with? Evidently no one is reproducing these.
I was told by one of the parts suppliers the shroud from on old CJ is the same size but that is certainly not the case.
Thanks for any replies.

FJ,
Have you looked at a CJ3a shroud?

The M38 radiator as delivered came
complete with the shroud attached.

The M38 radiator is different than the CJ
mainly due to the rod brackets attached
at each side. Whether the shroud is different
is unclear.

They make repop shrouds that look visually different but may function the same or better. Walcks for example has a nice looking one.

Brian is reproducing the M38 Shroud--Here is the link to his You Tube page that shows him making it.
