M38a1 master cylinder heat sheild.

Hi can anyone tell me if the master cylinder heat shield is the same as a world war 2 jeep . Mine is missing and I was planning to copy the one off my G.P.W. .

Try to fit the GPW one to your M38 first. Their part numbers are not even close!

1 - MB/GPW WO# A647, GPW# 5118, ORD# 7697874

2 - M38 WO# 800027, ORD# 7697479

Thanks Wes I will give it a go I may be able to alter it to suit these things are not easy to find here in the U.K.
