Bonjour à tous !
I have a question about a 641087 wich is a little bit different of what i saw in your database ?
I know that whent Willys Overland France starts to built the M201 jeep , a clone of the MB with a reenforced Frame, they got some engines from the US stocks . Then they casts their own blocks ( 80101 hwof) based on the 641087 .
I baught my M201 in 1993 from the French Army , but my wife died and i let the jeep in "a corner" up to 2015 when i retired and got enough time to "rebuilt the car !
I would like to know the casting date of this block which seems to be designed for a M38 ( connection between the head block and the water pump) ?
can someone help me to dekript the foundry marks ?
i did'nt find the way to insert pictures ?
Regards
Pierre

Bonjour,
All the best,
Dave.
