45 M Willys, what is a reasonable price

Post by Chuckr »

i have a 1945 M Willys that is not restored at all, it turns over but I have not tried to anything else with it. Due to my age I think I just want to sell it the way it is but have no idea what it might be worth. does anyone have any ideas? It appears to be complete and in fair shape, the frame is in very good condition. 24 volt. it came out of Montana.[/list]

Asking for an appraisal with so little information and no pictures is asking an awful lot of the members.

1 - What model is it? 41 thru 45 Willys were MA's and MB's.
2 - Is it stock? (24V was not stock in 45)
3 - Your "Appears to be" statements really need some photos to make any educated appraisal on.

I see you are new here. This web site is devoted to post WWII 1950 thru 1972 Willys/Kaiser military jeeps. So there is not a lot of expertise here on the WWII units. At least 1/3 of our over 2000 members have owned the WWII units and are familiar with them but a better description and photos is essential to an accurate appraisal. If you do not know hoe to post photos here there are explanations on this board:
Photo Posting & Gallery requests/problems
Members can post a message to request a photo gallery or relay a problem with your gallery. Gallerys creation is a manual process so it may take a day or two depending on how busy the administrators are. How to photo posting questions here as well.
It is near the bottom of our forum index page. This link will take you there:

I went ahead and opened an album for you. Use it to post photos of your jeep For Sale. Make sure your camera is set on a photo file size under 500K.
