Requst for Information on buying an MB
Someone posed a question to me on buying an MB. They asked if I am aware of a checklist or specific rules to go by when inspecting for purchase? Can anyone point to a direct resource to answer this? Thanks!

Z, I moved your post here from our Jeep Projects Board because it is much more of a technical information request then it is of the progress of one's jeep project.
Since we are a Willys/Kaiser 1950 thru 1972 military jeep web site you may not get a lot of info but since the M38 differs from the MB in only a very few ways the M38's pre-purchase inspection guide would be adaptable to the MB. But I would suggest using this guide:
http://www.classicmilitaryautomotive.co ... ers-guide/
Or something as simple as this where one need only to apply it specifically to the target vehicle:

There are also the overkill type:

Then there are the pay as you go inspections:

The G503 forum is all about MBs (and GPWs). There are many knowledgeable folks there. I did a lot of poking around there and asking questions before I bought my MBs and GPW.Z wrote:Someone posed a question to me on buying an MB.
