Convoy light

Hi. I have a question for the group. Did the M38 come with the convoy light shinning on the rear differential and how was it controlled. Any pic's would be appreciated. Cheers Rob M38 CDN

On the M-38 CDN, the Canadian Military installed the lights after delivery (to my knowledge). The light mounts up under the passenger rear corner and shined on the rear differential which was painted with a letter representing the position in the convoy. The light was controlled by a switch on the left side of the steering wheel. It is a simple on and off switch...

I would post photos, but my jeep is in storage and not available at this time...
