Didn't notice that little post script. OK, 5594698 this number does not match any of the listed M38/M38A1/M170 fuel pump part numbers. The only reference I found for 5594698 was for the DJ3A.

If it helps, here's an old post with info about the AirTex 9562 pump (AC 5594698). Looks like the pump pressure isn't high enough.

Well NUTZ!! I glazed right past the pressure specs on this pump but no worries it will get sent back. So now I'm back to square one on the pump search. I don't need one right now just trying to put a spare on the shelf for this jeep.
